2. Black Helicopters

Will you show me who I am?
Will you help me understand?
Disinformation travels though static lines
Fluorescent lights surrounding this distant shrine
Will you tell me where I am?
Seems it's got to be a new identity
A brand new energy that transmits through the haze of industry
Infused in our subconscious through filtered light with programmed divinations of hybrid design
This dark intelligence, seems it's got to be a system atrophy
A signal frequency that broadcasts from the depths of the abyss
Will the mainframe systems rot?
Will you intercept our thoughts?
Black helicopters circle just overhead
Artificial spirits mingle among the dead
Will technology decay?
Seems it's got to be mystic technology, a new divinity
The lights shine down on a frenzied parade again
I can show you the way
The skyline fades like synthetic decay again
I can show you the way
I will come through
I will show you
I can cure you
Meet me up in the sky
Meet me up in the burning sky
Take me up to the sky
Take me up to the burning sky
The axis turns and the temples will burn again
I can show you the way
The symbols show how the earth will erode again
I can show you the way

3. A Dark But Shining Sun

I showed you something your eyes could not see
I took you to a place where you'll be free
It's raining outside on a world that's in flames
The sky opened up and it asked me my name
And I said I am a sentence that has no meaning
The fire burns so free and lovely
A flash of light swallows a thousand more years
Awash in the streams of our mother earth's tears
A swirling grey torrent of violent rebirth will rain on the brow of our dear mother earth
So I said I am a sentence that has no meaning
The fire burns so free and lovely
I've had to deal with the time I've spent asleep under the firmament
Oblivious to anarchy and struggling for more air to breath
I want just to be somebody
I want you to be somebody
Deal with the time I've spent consumed with my own arrogance
I want you to be somebody.

4. The Whimper Of Whipped Dogs

I've got to face this casually and quit singing songs about freedom
So now it's time to close our eyes and hope it all blows over
You've got to see yourself for who you are when it's not
So hard to deal with
Long
Gone
Down
Dead, lull me out of the rain
I'm drowning, hold my head under water
So I can't breath
Right the wrongs or the world
I'm waiting, keep repeating your lies until they sound like the truth
Prophesy, no one hears you
Sanctify, no one listens anyway
Long
Gone
Down
Dead
The anger flows like spilled wine and soothes me with its calm acquaintance
It feels okay to lose control and act out with no clear reason
You've got to hide yourself from who you are when it's not so hard to deal with
Long
Gone
Down
Dead.

5. Deprogrammed

It's all this regret that seeps into my head, hear how it taunts me
I need to be trained how to act and behave, please hold me down
Welcome into my hollow world, welcome into this black room
I feel like my thoughts are no longer my own
A spokesman talks for me
I lease out my days for a minimum wage as the years slip by
To speak the truth, a point that's moot
We're trapped by our desires
Do what we're told, remote control
We're tricked into submission
Slaves to a wage
Paid to behave
Erase yourself completely
We're bought and sold
Remote control
Deprogram our desires
Under an empty sky
Dwell in this hollow world
Under an empty sky
Await the end of our lives.

6. Pantheistic

In this cold world we're all malnourished and alone
But the earth will ease the struggle
We live in hunger
In search of meaning where there's none
A communion of uncertainty and guilt
We destroy the only thing that makes us one
Burn down the temple where we all were born
It's a vicious circle that builds upon itself
In the end we're left with nothing but a shroud
I feel helpless
I'm alone
Is it everlasting?
We blot it out with cold detail
And the apathy is frightening
Out in the darkness I feel as though
I'm one with it and I do not need your shrines to prove my faith
We will sacrifice the force that brought us life
Kneel down to worship what we're told
Is right, instilled with fear for a god that isn't there while we rape the earth that nourishes us all
I feel helpless, I'm alone.

7. Beyond The Mountain

Over the mountain we climb
Into the valley of the sublime
We've been held down for so long
We've lost the pride that we felt too strong
Our black-eyed savior grows his flowers in the dirt
Come to me, angel, let me wash away the hurt
We've let go of something that we've held too strong
But it doesn't matter now that it's gone
Because it takes all we give
It took all we had and it's better off left now deep in the past
Sickened by the sight
Never had the right
Strangled by your laws
Crawling up the walls
So we'll stay just the same
Wade in the water where the infant first breathed life
Come to us, angel, save our people from the strife
I've latched unto something
I've missed for so long and it doesn't matter
I know that it's wrong, it unites us as one like father and son
And the circle is broken...
The damage is done, so we'll fade into the same.

8. Salamander

Asleep so soundly as the night begins
Confront this nightmare and awake again
The faithful look upon you from above
Enchanted by the madness of your love
We will dream of pagan dances
We will soothe the sweet assassins
We will claim this world as our own
In desperation hold me tightly
The salamander visits nightly
He will grant us everlasting bliss
The earth will open
Thy will be done
Time will trudge on
The sky will open
I was so wrong
Life will trudge on
Life is beautiful, appear before us as within a dream
Entwine us further with this entity
The weathered statues crumble instantly
The voices issue forth in endless streams
I will dream of tribal trances
I will soothe the sweet assassins
I will dance the fatal dances.

9. Strange Benedictions

Speak up if you're so persuaded this is the path I'm supposed to take
There's a strange sort of logic to the way we live
Unaware and afraid, will I see it tonight?
I will burn in neon light, and in a moment I'll realize that I can never go back
A strange blessing indeed when what I hate is what I need
And all desire is twisted into something unknown
So I cauterize the wound again and withdraw into complacence
I work hard to set the stage again for things to just get worse
So I wash away the residue of another day's self-abuse
I work hard to further numb the sense of accomplishment
Somewhere down the road
Speak up if you're so committed to a cause you believe is true
There's a strange sort of logic to the faith you have
It's a common excuse
Will you be there tonight when I burn in neon light?
Will you remember my name when people no longer care?
A strange blessing indeed, we pick the wound and let it bleed
And when the blood is all drained we'll do it over again
I work hard to cover up the pain but it stays there anyway
And it forces me to face the truth
I've been asleep so long
So I wash away the residue of another day's self-abuse
Will this strange benediction bring me what I deserve?
Somewhere down the road.

10. Secret Teachings Of Lost Ages

Did you ever really wonder about the air you breathe and the happiness you'll never reach?
So cry out because life's not fair and what you really need is never
There, and then it hits you that knowledge is sin and you'll never be the same again
You know that feed is sown and the new world has begun, we are one
We're the secrets forgotten for so long, we are one
We're the dreams of the prophet's lonely song
Did you ever really ponder on the shapeless themes of forgotten times and ageless dreams?
Or find out what the black code spells and the ancient divination tells
And then it hits you that knowledge is bliss and life is really meaningless
You know when the books are burned that the old world has returned.

11. Medicine Man

Can you bring me there?
Show me things that I've never seen
I want to see it burn
I want to see it burn in vain
I want to see you there
I want to see you there in flames
I need to release it
I'll take it tonight
I'm not used to the colors that appear in my eyes
They bring us pleasure
They bring us pain, but never, never will they come again
I want to see you there
I want to see you there in flames
I want to see you burn
I want to see you burn in vain
The visions burn for me so bright
Beyond control
The visions come to me at night
Beyond control
Time heals all
And now it crawls inside of me and brings illumination
Now it dwells inside of me.

12. Guided By The Spirit

You talk about a master plan where faith and violence go hand in hand
Keep holding on to all of your easy answers
You fantasize of mass destruction like a whore in love with her own reflection
A dying world's the key to your salvation
You can never see within me or understand the words that I speak
You want to take it all away
I defy your trite conventions
I abhor your moral lessons
I want to throw it all away
Guided by the spirit
I don't want to hear it
The sun sets tomorrow, will you see it?
Steal my soul, take its toll, unholy poetry
You question why we all exist like an offspring born from the serpent's kiss
Do you believe in all of your easy answers?
Are death and god entwined so tight in a sick embrace that sees wrong from right?
Set your clock to the end of our existence.

13. Behold A Pale Horse

So close all along
Let's tremble to the silent drone and wander through the wreckage
As the day slips into night
Take care not to speak of the illness that slowly creeps into the order on man
For without this we are lost
Still you wonder is it worth the fight?
Does it make a difference who is wrong and who is right?
I've known all along, the secrets kept in the protocol
We all are agents of sickness
A conspiracy of frailty
So lost in the guilt
Let's worship the idols built to ease the pain of creation and to grant us immortality
Still we wander into foreign lands
In search of power we don't understand
So I pray now for the ending of the lie
And the darkness will perpetuate the night
So I wait now for the ending of the lie
The protocol of the elder code will rule
Bow down in fear, pray for the end of the lie
You never wanted someone to tell you how to survive
You never asked for help with the conflicts of this life
The black tongue of the orphaned son will speak
Bow to its grace
The whore will ignore the law of vice, bow to this sin.

14. They, The Tyrants

Divine paranoia
A voice far away
A lingering fear reappears to confirm this decay
A blessed disease of royal decree
A shadow is cast
The hungry must fast
Pray for the power that cripples divine
Prepare for the feast and the beast of the coming decline
We are enthroned
Descendent from the ancient blood
Enslaved we wait with bated breath
Divine we writhe in lovely death
Bathe in the ruins
A circle of rust
Bow down to the statues that wither and crumble to dust
A dreadful disdain
The siren's refrain falls on deaf ears
A hundred more years.
