1. Commemoration
(intro)
2. Ophelia's Crown
Hand in hand she walks with me
and the shame, it's burning my eyes
etching each memory
in time, just to be by her side
her face carved deeply in innocence
she walks and she secretly smiles
taunting with a lover's grin
and she laughs, and watches me die
now we are here and there is no forgiveness
empty words are the promises within
without a passing thought, I shed my life to join them
Eden is bruning and lovers delve in sin
empty words are the promises within
Eden is burning and lovers delve in sin
hand in hand, we walk in shame
mother is dying and we are to blame
3. Three
the ghost... I am... caresses reality
the eye... you are.. devouring the light
the blade... fate is... cuts deep in our silhouette
into furrows of our last day
4. Dawn
Eyes closing, breathing life into your veins
and then the morning rips you away
torn my the scythe of dawn, she wields it with
no shame
eyes closing, you whisper words that bled
the veil of dusk is tightly drawn
light fading, it sets you free again
unscathed by the hidden blade
eyes closing, your hand begins to shiver
slipping through my fingers torn by the thorns
of wake
as dawn gives birth to the naked sun
eyes closing, breathing death into my veins
this fleeting body finds you there
where cloudlike creatures have no color
I will always be with you in that place
its hands enfolding the lithic skin
hiding the stones uncovered by sleep
in which the dream scatters the lie
eyes closing, breathing death into my veins
I will find you there
5. Remember
mirror reflects pools of water
dripping timelessly from
scars of a mortal coil
the majestic garden wounded.
shares her wisdom no longer
and with this... I remember...
birds of song
now but ash and ember
they lie silnet
amidst the vision
of burning trees
her eyes swollen
spilling raindrops of blood
treasures of life
scorched and ravaged
earthly seasons burned away
a memory etched
like a blackened scar on a shell
of what once was beauty
weak and fragile teardrops fill
the pools of ice
the taste of the poison filters
through every ebony sunrise
no light shines upon
the ruins of what once was
a wasteland some call home
the naked season we call...
6. Flight
My empty eyes and weakened gaze,
remove me from the sky
sipping night and tasting tears,
of stars that always cry
the journey ends and paths unfold
I danced with death and smiled
I fear her kiss no longer
for now I am her child
if I should die before I wake,
may sleep become my tomb
let death become my muse,
my bed within her womb
my shaded eyes and sharpened gaze
sipping light and tasting dreams
my empty eyes and weakened gaze,
remove me from the sky
sipping night and tasting tears,
of stars that always cry
the jurney ends and paths unfold
I danced with death and smiled
I fear her kiss no longer
for now I am her child
if I should die before I wake,
may sleep become my tomb
let death become my muse,
my bed within her womb
7. The Beauty In All Things
you held me close, as I drowned
your smile flickered and became a reflection
I see the beauty in all things...
8. Pandora's Womb
Our mother is dying again
coldly she stares at her kin, with no empathy
she said you will remember me, all of me, and... none of me...
with each sigh of pain. I give birth to you,
now there is no time left... face fate... whitout me
sculpting every shallow grin from the madness I now keep
shame on us as we coil, and shed our skin
The paralyzed wretch now clings to me
working deep its needy fingers
burrowing, nestling within the warmth of waning, feral flesh
in hopes of sipping from the coveted chalice of cancer
all to remind us of false comfort found within the arms of fate
innocence wakes from brittle bones
and sleep draws closer with each subtle breath
pursed lips, cracked and swollen
sip sweet milk from ivory breast
nurturing the inevitable end, infant eyes peer and widen
her womb laced with decay spews forth it's putrescence
and so is born another fool... broken angels fall at our feet
skeletal apparitions with eyeless sockets
crawling and seething, weeping for mercy
we eat their bodies, savor their flesh
tasting their anguish so the misery can live on
within us, passing from one to another
the searing hatred thet now lines our skin
I can feel your gaze on me, yet you always look away
my eyes and my lips sewn shut, I forget that we are here
if this is my Hell, then I carry you with me always
9. At A Distance
burning water fills my breath
your kisses steal, each whisper
between every thread of life
how gently death pierces me
yet it mean nothing at all
and it's so quiet now...
shhhhhhhh
and I fell from your touch
and I withered and wisped away
although my eyes are gone
I still see you at a distance
10. Eclipse
gleaming rays foreshadow the eclipse
the boy in the box and the girl in the maze
moonlit puppets cast no shadows
the invisible water flows down their cheeks
you call them teardrops. I call them wounds
you call them teardrops, oh, but I call them wounds
shivering echoes of paradise
a lifetime stolen away, a fragment lost in eternity
gleaming rays foreshadow the eclipse
