1. Tuatha De Dannan
(intro)
2. Duan Do Mo Bheann Sidhe
Magnificent woman of sorrow
Messenger of death
Inflictor of my pain
Be my bride in waiting
Appear to me in dream like vision
As spears of light drench the land
With your seducing songs of wile
Be my bride in waiting
Ancient rivers of death flow
Over the valleys of darkness
Grim life I bid thee farewell
For an bheansidhe
My bride to be
Now in caves of ever dark
Rivers run dry
Only tears of sorrow flow
Everywhere the stench of death
Grim life I bid thee farewell
For you my bride in waiting
Buiochas mo bheannsidhe
Misanthropic desires now enacted
In a place of ultimate tranquillity
Buiochas mo bheannsidhe
Where souls of loyalty
Bear the scars of baptismal sword
And forever be
Buiochas mo bheansidhe
Over the valleys of darkness
We fly
For you my bride
Grim life I bid thee farewell
For you my bride
Buiochas Bhean
Magnificent woman of sorrow
Messenger of death
Inflictor of my pain
Be my bride in waiting
Be my bride
(In a dreamlike vision as spears of light drench the land)
And forever be
Buiochas mo Bheansidhe
Misanthropic desires now enacted
In a place of ultimate tranquillity
And forever be
3. The Last One On Earth
Bring me your tears
Grant me your sorrow
I can see no tomorrow
Dance with me dreamweaver
Darkness glory be
Within dream's kingdom
We are lost
Through this frozen nightmare I crawl
Within this filthy shell I mourn
Outside of this barren world I live
Tears of fire I weep forever more
Alone the last one on earth
Forever the first one to die
Alone the last one on earth
Forever the first one to die
Darkness glory by
All is dead
Within dream's kingdom
We are lost
My thoughts fly free above this realm of wonder
A silver forest, my black kingdom
Where I will be eternally, the last one on earth
Darkness glory be
Within dream's kingdom
We are lost forever
Through a pentagram etched in frozen immortal stars
Oh the lust of the night
Eternally the first one to die
Alone the last one on earth
4. Danna
Dannu your lonely son calls you
Hear my cries, I beg of you
Your fires burn low
Beneath the past I go
For you
You feel the pain a banished god knows
Your lonely son goes where
Where you may go
You feel the pain a banished god knows
Your lonely son goes where
Where you may go
You feel the pain a banished god knows
5. Frozen Queen
Daughter of Samael
Child of night
Come to me
Dance with me frozen queen
Wherefore art thou my frozen queen
A vanity never for my eyes to see
From the void where my thoughts are answered
Oh to dance with you my queen
Be still my ebon heart
Buried beneath the ashes of
A thousand broken dreams
Wherefore art thou my frozen queen
A vanity never for my eyes to see
From the void where my thoughts are answered
Oh to dance with you my queen
Through the night –– my queen
See what she did your cunting daughter
Daughter of Samael
Child of night
Come to me
Wherefore art thou my frozen queen
A vanity never for my eyes to see
From the void where my thoughts are answered
Why have you forsaken me?
Be still my ebon heart
Buried beneath the ashes of
A thousand broken dreams
Wherefore art thou my frozen queen
A vanity never for my eyes to see
From the void where my taughts are answered
Why have you forsaken me?
Die with me
Set me free
Oh for you my pale and innocent one
You will never have me
Oh to rape your secrets one by one
You have no secrets left to give
In loneliness and despair
Despair be my god
Oh to dance with you my Queen
I am lost in your eyes
6. Rite Of Passage
I feel my life fly before me
I feel my love wane
I see a future life
It grows darker still
And now I know
As never before...
I can see my rite of passage
And I know it's soon to begin
We are the endless...
We walk with the dawn of time
As there is none before
This path I mourn
A journey, length aeons told
This is my rite of passage
A journey, length aeons told
To a crescendo of moon music
Which bloodies my mind
A lifeless void old
When will it ever end?
7. Where Shadows Are Borne
Your shining light falls through
Your silver beauty is covered by
Your starlit eyes
I am dying
In your eyes
Bring to me sudden wisdom of ages
Being far are your wings of destiny
As wide are the seas of sorrow
I am drowning in despair
Being far are your wings of destiny
As wide are the seas of sorrow
Why have you crushed my life from within?
Misery, Thy master calls you, heed me
I feel the hammer fall like a moonlit caress
Hail to you my angel
Your broken wings hold me
Why must your smile cut me?
I bleed
I will take you where shadows are born
I feel the hammer fall like a moonlit caress
Hail to you my angel
Your broken wings hold
Why must your smile cut me?
I bleed
I will take you where shadows are born
In a world of mourning
By banished light, I pray my soul to take
And if I should die before I mourn
I pray the day my skin shall burn
In cold memories
In a world of mourning a shadow is borne
8. Starside
To starside I fly
Soaring through a cloven sky
Striding towards a bloodied cross
Fucking the lifeless daughter of light
Hearing the screams of souls
Upon the innocent fields of pity
Frozen hatred fills my mind
Through my eyes see...
A crimson sun falling towards a grey twilight
Silver branches webbing the nightsky horizon
A sea of tears flowing towards my frozen wastelands
Sorrow's waters flow about my feet
A fallen angel be my silver sword
I am the mist of the night
The pillars of heaven crumble with my glance
Turn my gaze towards immortality
Now the darkness greets me
All that I am, all that I shall be
Glimpsed through shadows
And a thousand angels cry
As I die
Together with our hands to the sky
My dreams and I, to starside ewe fly
Soaring through a cloven sky
To starside I fly
My dreams and I
I see the angels cry
On a bloodied cross.........Angels cry...
9. Spansill Hill
Last night as I lay dreaming
of pleasant days gone by,
Me mind been bent on rambling,
to Ireland I did fly,
I stepped on board a vision
and followed with a will
Till next I came to anchor
at the cross near Spancill Hill.
Delighted by the novelty,
enchanted with the scene,
Where in me early boyhood – often I had been,
I thought I heard a murmur
and I think I hear it still
It's the little stream of water
that flows down Spancill Hill.
To amuse a passing fancy
I lay down on the ground,
And all my school companions
they shortly gathered round
When we were home returning
we danced with bright goodwill,
To Martin Moynahan's music
at the cross at Spancill Hill.
It was on the 24th of June,
the day before the fair
When Ireland's sons and daughters
and all assembled there,
The young, the old, the brave, the bold
came their duty to fulfil,
At the little church in Clooney,
a mile from Spancill Hill.
I went to see me neighbours
to see what they might say,
The old ones they were dead and gone,
the young ones turning grey,
I met the tailor Quigley, he was bold as ever still,
sure he used to make my britches
when I lived at Spancill Hill.
I paid a flying visit to me first and only love,
She's as fair as any lilly and gentle as a dove,
She threw her arms around me
crying "Johnny I love you still",
She was a farmer's daughter,
the pride of Spancill Hill.
Well I dreamt I hugged and kissed her
as in the days of yore
She said "Johnny you're only joking"
as many the times before,
The cock crew in the morning,
he crew both loud and shrill
And I awoke in California,
many miles from Spancill Hill.
