Лирика

1. The Werewolf

This tale is about lycanthropy. Possessed by an ancient evil curse, a man
turns into a werewolf, shapeshifting on full moon nights. In his new bestial
incarnation, he's not able to tell his friends anymore, tearing to pieces even
the ones who could have helped him.

It was a full moon night that gave rise to my curse
I can still feel the pain, the writhing of my bones
The sacred legacy of an ancient breed
So this night again I've got to quench my bloody greed

Running after me, they're coming always nearer
The end is getting closer, my life is soon to be over
Shooting at my back, breathing on my neck
I've got to die 'cause I'm the Werewolf

I have no memories of when I'm on the loose
The bloodstains on my face make me deem I do no good
No more friends have I, no one knows the truth
I've slain them all and then feasted with their blood

Running after me, they're coming always nearer
The end is getting closer, my life is soon to be over
Shooting at my back, breathing on my neck
I've got to die 'cause I'm the Werewolf

'Cause I'm the Werewolf

Running after me, they're coming always nearer
The end is getting closer, my life is soon to be over
Shooting at my back, breathing on my neck
I've got to die 'cause I'm the Werewolf
Running after me, they're coming always nearer
The end is getting closer, my life is soon to be over
Shooting at my back, breathing on my neck
I've got to die 'cause I'm the Werewolf

2. Hell On Wheels

Inspired by the short novel "Trucks" written by Stephen King, this tale is
about machines rebellion: all trucks, cars and various vehicles of the world
have gone crazy mysteriously, becoming dangerous human killers. A bunch of
survivors finds shelter in a snack bar, but they'll soon fall slaves to the
evil machines.

Rounds in the parking
Increasin' the growlin'
Lunacy – There's no escape from here
Look aboard – There ain't no one
But the motors ain't stoppin' at all
Headlights shinin' in anger
Now the engines roar and come for you – Today...

The beams come on your trail
And you won't have the time to run away
Hell on wheels will send the world astray
Roles as you know are inverted
Oh trucks are rulin' us all everywhere today

Trucks keep on barkin'
Just like rabid packs of wolves
Stink of death is coming closer
See the queue – It's up to you
To refuel their fill of doom
So don't care of your own pain
Cause they're waitin' to be fed by you – Today...

The beams come on your trail
And you won't have the time to run away
Hell on wheels will send the world astray
Roles as you know are inverted
Oh trucks are rulin' us all everywhere

Hatred piled up in a century of slavery
Bound to fulfil every idle human need
Who said "machines have no brain", man?

Now they come – Today...

The beams come on your trail
And you won't have the time to run away
Hell on wheels will send the world astray
Roles as you know are inverted
Oh trucks are rulin' us all everywhere
Oh trucks have swept all the humans away – Today

3. Logan's Run

(инструментал)

4. Children Of Reality

This song takes inspiration from the famous science fiction movie "Logan's
run" starring Michael York and Peter Ustinov, describing the conditions of life
in the 23rd century. The survivors of nuclear wars and overpopulation are now
living in a huge city covered by massive domes of steel and glass, completely
controlled by computers, who decide about life and death. The instrumental
intro is dedicated to the character of Logan, a man who tries to escape from
the city, to avoid being killed and to find the truth.

We are sons of test-tubes
Numbers on a file
In the hands of our computer god
He's the mastermind
Under domes of glass and steel
We'll live our way
Till the clock of life reveals our fate
The renewal day

Even looking for a sanctuary
Couldn't help you find the truth

Children of reality
Lost in a world of dream
The young hold the keys to the earth
Victims of a prophecy
Awarding three decades
Without any chance of rebirth

There's no sense in hiding
Nor in run away
Calling of the sandmen, never mind
Come and terminate
So come on and take me
To the carousel
In a fiery ritual we will fly
To reborn again

Not a solace of a certainty
But our faith is guiding through

Children of reality
Lost in a world of dream
The young hold the keys to the earth
Victims of a prophecy
Awarding three decades
Without any chance of rebirth

As we stand around the crystal flame
With our flashing hands held high
Desperation fills my starin' eyes
It's all a lie...

Children of reality
Lost in a world of dream
The young hold the keys to the earth
Victims of a prophecy
Awarding three decades
Without any chance of rebirth

Children of reality
Lost in a world of dream
A prison disguised as delight
Victims of a slavery
Siliceous tyranny
A cage as a false paradise

5. Sea Of Lies

Just like Sidney Lumet showed in his movie "Network", nowadays the media
have gained an overwhelming power over the masses, handled by their control.
People is sinking slowly under the waves of false and incorrect information,
and it is almost impossible to unveil the truth.

Every gaze at the TV news
Another load of creepin' lies
Crawling into my mind
Can't endure no more

'Cause their game is plain
To wipe away our features now
But if we stake ourselves
Our life becomes a lie... you know it!

Every day the media bring
A good deal of violence
How could this valve of discharge
Avoid a ghastly event?

How can we find the truth
When everyone's a nasty crook?
We're sinkin' through the waves
Of doubts and dark mistakes... through the sea of lies!

The fourth estate is right
We're all slaves under control
Tomorrow we shall fight no more
To preserve our freewill

Daily shooting messages
From the press, radio or TV
They're gonna take me to insanity
Like a slow lobotomy

Again I gape at the tv news
My blood is boiling deep inside
This time I clench my fist and
Won't take it anymore

We shall find the truth
Effacing their deception now
Keep sailing on the waves
Enlightening their mistakes

Through the sea of... through the sea of lies!

6. Ragnarok

According to the myths of Northern Europe, the day of the Ragnarok will
bring us the end of the world: both forces of Good and Evil will fight,
annihilating each other. From the ashes of the Nine Worlds a new breed of men,
born from Balder the brave, will arise and repopulate the Earth.

Hear the sound of Gjallarhorn
See the armies of the Gods
Let fear invade your mortal heart
For it's the day of the end
Three winters have passed, and then three more
Three cocks have crowed, and that means war

Chaos and Order stare
There's anger in their eyes

This is the time of the Ragnarok
From Valhalla warriors come
This is the time of the Ragnarok
Both Gods and Demons... can die today!

Heavy losses on the Asgaardian side
Dead are Odin and Thor the thunderer
But forces of evil shall not prevail
Even if Muspell fire now burns the world
And the past glory of Gods and Men

But a new dawn will come
Balder is back from the dead

This is the time of the Ragnarok
From Valhalla warriors come
This is the time of the Ragnarok
Both Gods and Demons... can die today!

A mighty new race of men
Will repopulate the earth

This is the time of the Ragnarok
From Valhalla warriors come
This is the time of the Ragnarok
Both Gods and Demons... die today!

7. Danse Macabre

Just like in the famous "Danse Macabre" paintings, nowadays we can see
"dead" people walking around in a state of complete catatonic inanition too.
The problem of drug addiction can turn into an endless wall impossible to climb
for the ones who cannot rely on their own strength and will.

Dead are really dancing in the streets of our town
Every day they feast bringing holy dusted pain
And someone trust in them, trust their evil rule
But illusions fade away – Danse Macabre is rising...

I saw pushers selling dreams
To those children who don't know what life means
Then I saw their little hands
Mercilessly killing friends

So I won't play the leading role
In this tragedy
But I can't turn aside
'Cause this crash is life

Realize you can stop the dance
Just always relying on yourself

I saw people slowly dying
For a short trip in nobody's land
Don't you know that flight, maybe
Can throw you down forever

Sometimes the words deceive us
But we'll sort our weal
They'll never be the masters
Of my soul

Realize you can stop the dance
Just always relying on yourself

Indifference's great convenience
In this farce called life
I refuse the domination
Of those Gods
I refuse to undersell myself

Realize you can stop the dance
Just always relying on yourself
Realize you can stop the dance
Just breaking their throne – nothing else

8. The Catalyst

9. Forging The Darksword

Inspirated by the first book of the Darksword Saga, written by Margaret Weis
and Tracy Hickman, the authors of the famous Dragonlance books, this song is
about the story of the enchanted land of Merilon, where people live with the
aid of magic powers. Joram, the son of the Emperor, born without magic at all,
is declared dead and his noble rights are denied. His destiny will be decided
by the Darksword, the weapon from an ancient prophecy. The instrumental
introduction is connected to the figure of Saryon the catalyst, one of the main
characters of the book.

The secrets you have learned from the books of the Congregation
Will be your weapon now to claim back what is yours
You melt together the cursed iron and the dark stone
Daring a blasphemy that wizards will not forgive

Forging the Darksword
Giving Life to what is Dead
Your destiny is glory
They shall die by thy hand

Hiding and running since the day that you were born Dead
Pretending Magic with the skills your mother taught you
You saw your father wasted into a living statue
The time will come for you to taste the sweet of vengeance

Forging the Darksword
Giving Life to what is Dead
Your destiny is glory
They shall die by thy hand
Forging now your sword

It's come the time for casting, may your hand be firm, now
Don't fail the dosage, Joram, get it cold enough
Let your hammer strike, a blow at every heartbeat
The forging's done, now, Catalyst, give life!

Forging the Darksword
Giving Life to what is Dead
Your destiny is glory
They shall die by thy hand
Forging now your sword

In the Silent Room, Vanya waits
And the schemes take their shape
Destiny will unveil the truth
Then the Bishop will kneel down to you

Forging the Darksword
Giving Life to what is Dead
Your destiny is glory
They shall die by thy hand
Forging now your sword

10. War Journal

This song is about one of the most famous character of Marvel Comics, the
Punisher. He is an ex-marine, whose family was gunned down before his eyes by a
mob hit gone wrong. Using his military training and extensive knowledge of
weaponry, he has taken on the vigilante guise of the Punisher and takes it upon
himself to "punish" those who break the law.

In the depths of the American dream
A soldier lies in wait
Shady figure haunted by regrets
His moral features shattered in a dark vengeance

Don't you think you're safe with your crimes
Justice comes where madness goes
Fear him and the skull on his chest
His self-destruction will send you to the grave... or down deeper

Your fate sealed
Enroled in the War Journal

"Innocence dies in the dirt
And something dies within myself
The world becomes a scarlet dream
By its monsters I am the worse" (Frank Castle)

No distinction between criminals
The drudge pays as the ringleader
Restless hunting high and low
The punishment now will be the same... or maybe worse

Your fate sealed
Enroled in the War Journal

The war goes on... all in the name of vengeance...
Do the crime... and then pay the ultimate price!

11. Flatliners

Inspired by the homonymous movie starring Julia Roberts, Kiefer Sutherland
and Kevin Bacon, this tale is about a bunch of medical students who want to
explore the realms of death; to do so, they kill themselves with lethal
injections, just to come back to life by medical machines and instruments. This
hazardous experiment leads their minds to madness and their souls to
struggle.

Try to push your life further – In the realm of the unknown
Just stop your heart for a while – Take a look to the other side
Clinical decease – Just the means to your cravings
Women or fortune and fame – But is the game worth the candle

Now the mistery's broken – Sixty seconds and more
But the deal is not over – Tonight...

The sun's coming back from its sinking
Not a good day to die
And the ghosts that will haunt your tomorrow
Are the sins that you know that you've done... Flatliners!

How's a life mixed to madness – Like the hell that I'm into
That's the rage of the Maker – When you've gone much too far
Can you tell me the difference – Between reality and this
Gathering of victims – Coming to make you repent it

Now my sanity's broken – Not a joke anymore
'Cause the deal is not over – Tonight...

The sun's coming back from its sinking
Not a good day to die
And the ghosts that will haunt your tomorrow
Are the sins that you know that you've done... Flatliners!

All the words previously written didn't make any sense
Answers where religion failed – Men deserve 'em, we will get them

Tonight...

The sun's coming back from its sinking
Not a good day to die
And the ghosts that will haunt your tomorrow
Are the sins that you know that you've done
The sun is back from its sinking
Not a good day to die
And the ghosts that will haunt your tomorrow
Are the sins that you know that you've done... Flatliners!

12. Chorus Of The Rain

The warrior's rest: in the middle of the night, loneliness drives our mind
to deepen in our thoughts, reminding us of what we've done or not. Remembrance,
good or bad, comes to life in the echo of the rain...

I don't want my thoughts
To vanish through the sands of time
But I wanna leave my footprints there
To see the end of the ride
I wanna leave this fiesta
Where even the guard has left
But it boils all down to uniformity
In this empty land that hides the exit

At night my eyes are open wide
In a darkness I can see
I turn and turn around
And my mind, it plays
With the carousel of memories
My hands shiver at night
While in the silence it plays... the Chorus of the Rain

I won't look for the last road
To the hole in the ground
I don't want the worm
To eat the poisonous earth in the black lawn
I just want a cigarette
To warm up my heart while ashes spoil the rocks
No point in turning back
Or looking for another road

At night my eyes are open wide
In a darkness I can see
I turn and turn around
And my mind, it plays
With the carousel of memories
My hands shiver at night
While in the silence it plays... the Chorus of the Rain
