dolorous mysteries – fathomless pain

Amidst the soundless solitudes immense
This oppressing silence which benumbs my sense
wrapt in my own nighted doom
that yawns with abysmal gloom

Illuminated bitter visions of illusion
lost myself – gone too far in self-confusion
I am about to follow my last track
I failed: my spark of hope is black

Vanquished on the field of life for the end I yearn
The spark is quenched nor ever more will burn

2. Nekrolog

Consuming cosmic volatifity
A haunting pessimistic elegy
Ghostly vortex of my obliteration
And the prodigy of selfdissipation

Darkness poured mforth upon my universe
In one unceasing radiation of gloom
A heart heavy with the song of the moving scythe
Spirally floating in antagonising doom

Convulsive spasm of the soul
A chronic perpetual distress
The epitome of my inferno
Dwelling dormant and will-less

Nemo ante mortem beatus
Mors ultima linea rerum est
Media in vita in morte sumus
Sic non luceat lux vitae!

A grievous day lasts a hundred years
Downhearted spirit – perish in azure tears
By the signum of mortality I fade away
Forsake myself – I'm torn astray

When all hope is bleeding out of my soul
Deprived of confidence and belief
My life's a ruin in which my future dies
A forlorn maze of sorrow and grief

3. Peisithanatos

Towards tragedy and dissolution
Taught bitter lessons of the inevitable end
Exorcism of all hope and illusion
The absence of will and the voluntary self-abandonment

Broke every phantasm of prosperous life to wander aimlessly
In the delirium of the downfall tragedy
The sole experience of his cataclysm fantasy
Demands your escape from this disruptive absurdity

Disintegrate the absurd urge to live
And listen to the song of the transitory
A shattered existence – nothing more to give
Forced to dwell in this non-essential purgatory

The implacable consequence of this lucid negativism
That haunting void within my mind
Absorption in negativity – concentration on pessimism
A heart filled with autumnal dreams so unkind

Experience the liberating resignation
A veil of horror, fear, and darkening of the soul
The ultimate fall into oblivion and isolation
Death mercifully extinguishes my life so foul

There is no beyond
The dried-up tree is dead forever
The frozen bird does not come back to life
Nor does a man after he has died

4. Pavor Nocturnus

This nameless, tedious agony I feel
A depressing darkness tragedy
The walls stare empty and cold
A rush of mischievous thoughts so old

Stare into a lost souls space
Whispering curses – insomnias face
Pain decelerats time
Bury in sleep the fears of mine

A nightmare of brooding and apprehension
The shroud of self-contemplation
Breast full of burdensome sadness
Shrinking existence – resignation madness

Profund anxiety, miserable me
Forlorn in time and burning alive
Shrill at your life for cursing thee
At last in dark oblivion you dive

Upon the weary eyes and wasted brain;
And all sad scenes and thoughts and feelings vanish
In that sweet sleep no power can ever banish,
That one best sleep whicht never wakes again.
